Manuscripts and ebooks
Export any book as a Word manuscript in the standard format agents expect, a PDF, an EPUB, Markdown or plain text. Status marks, undecided alternates and your notes to yourself are left out. Every file is made in your browser, so your book is never sent to us. Read more

A print interior
A PDF for KDP or IngramSpark: trim sizes from 5 × 8 to 6 × 9, A5 or your own, bleed, mirrored margins, chapters on right-hand pages, running heads and drop caps. Add front and back matter, an ISBN and a cover for the EPUB. It is not a PDF/X or CMYK file, and the help says what that means. Read more

The Ready check, and copy for a web serial
The Ready check says whether a chapter still has Raw text, undecided alternates or no title. For a web serial it copies the chapter as rich text for Royal Road, Substack or Wattpad, as HTML for AO3, or as Markdown, ready to paste. Read more
Your book as a website
Make a small website of a book, a front page and a page for each chapter, as a zip of plain web pages to put on GitHub Pages, Netlify or any host. The pages have no scripts and follow the reader’s light or dark setting. Rescriptus hosts nothing. Read more

A release schedule
Give chapters a release date and mark them released. The plan’s Schedule shows what is due next, how many ready chapters you have in hand, and which are late. Nothing is sent anywhere and nobody is reminded. Read more
Also: a reader copy for beta readers (see Together); maps in the book (see Maps); a feed of new chapters for your website.
